This is a Virtual stock exchange online. This can be set up to compete as a private class or join a public game. I did use this at the end of this year and the students could not wait to get on the computer to see how their stocks were doing. We actually had great conversations on what they should be doing and then going online and researching companies.

This site has students match 27 different accounts to the correct financial statement. It gives the students flash card type review of what accounts go into which financial statement. It is similar a flash card review I have done in the past, but it this allows the students to review at anytime. I think just having it online will get them to do the review.

One of the biggest problems student have in finding information online is how to build an effective search this sites allows them to think about what the put into the searches before they start. While completing these activities, students see how good keyword searches get better information. The keyword challenges make the students think about what is the most important in the search before they start searching.
